What is Aspire Life?

Founded in 2020 by Madeline Frampton, Aspire Life has built itself as a support system for young people to access the skills and confidence they need towards a better future. This comes through providing alternative education, youth services and sport programmes through their collaboration with schools, charities, businesses and community venues; more so, any organisation which can offer support or valuable experiences for young people is encouraged to partner with them. With the help of Managing Director, Lewis Maguire, their team has grown to a total of 50 professionals across the South West of the UK.

As part of their recent partnership with Dorset Mind, a team of 6 Aspire Life staff have taken on the challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro in 2027, and raising £20,000 before the trip. The fundraiser and trip serve as inspiration to those who are struggling, that no one should climb their mountain alone, and that each individual’s journey up the mountain is unique.

5,895 Meters Climbed in ONE DAY

As part of their many fundraising events, the Aspire Life Kilimanjaro Trek 2027 Fundraiser Team organised a climbing event with CLIMBUNITY. As part of their fundraiser, the team set out to climb 5,895 Meters (the height of Kilimanjaro) in a single day! The event took place on Friday the 20th of April 2026, hosted by The Project Climbing Centre, Poole. Taking part in helping the team reach their goal, young volunteers climbed alongside the Aspire Life team members on the day.

It has been a very pleasant experience partnering with Aspire Life to help with one of their fundraisers. I got to experience first hand the support and encouragement that the staff members provide to their students during the fundraising event. All of the young volunteers were really keen on contributing towards the climbing goal, which goes to prove the positive environment that Aspire Life provides for the children to get involved.

I wish nothing but the best of luck to the fundraising team for their Trek in February 2027, and that they are able to reach their fundraising goal!

 C.U. SOON!
